The main goal of this messenger is to be the same styled as your operating system. The icons are supposed to be from you icon set, the panels should look like the system panels, windows are supposed to be displayed as system windows and fonts and colors are supposed to be the same with the rest of your system.
By the way "squawk" - is onomatopoeic word for the sounds a bird (mostly a macaw or any other big parrot) makes. Since it also has letter "q" which is quite common for qt based applications I have found this word extremly sutable to be a name of my project.
