• (Rec. 4:1) When we had then gone out from Caesarea Straton to travel to Phoenician Tripolis, the first day being in Roda (Dora), because we were near the city that we had left, a great crowd of those who had received instruction came out and traveled with us. Then on the second day we arrived at Ptolemaida, and we stayed there ten days, conversed with the people, and to a few others, who being great lovers of instruction were seeking to detain us, we promised that we would talk with them at Tripolis. And we went out from there, but thus it was even for the Tyrians, and likewise the Sidonians and Berytians, for they greatly wanted to seize us because he had told them that we were wintering in Tripolis.
